We installed railway sleepers along the length of the 100m verge to create a raised bed and retain the soil.
Prior to installation we had to prune back the existing planting and clear ivy off the wall and weed the length of the verge. Tonnes of new topsoil and mulch were then added and new flowering perennials planted.
